Anxious to learn the bahasa as soon as he landed on Malaysia soil,this Mat salleh asked the assistant in his office to teach him a word or two a day.

With pen and notebook in hand,the Mat salleh would point to various items around,and then ask the office assistant to say them loudly in bahasa Malaysia.

Once,at the crucial moment when he was pointing to the toilet and asking``Apa itu”,the assistant happened to fart,``Apa itu?”he asked again.The assisthat replied,``Itu kentut!”

The Mat salled didn’t hear it clearly.So he said,``sekali lagi?”The assistant `struggled ‘for a few moments and eventually told him,``Surrender,tuan!Cannot kentut sekali lagi!”
